Supporting the troops
Regardless of your opinions about the war in Iraq, one thing is clear... supporting the troops is priority number 1 for most folks. People always show their appreciation (especially at the airports) by acknowledging the soldiers either coming from or on their way to Iraq with a thunderous round of applause and cheers. These scenes are downright amazing.
