'Marriage Is for White People'

Had a quiet weekend... still trying to finish On Beauty by Zadie Smith. Great read thus far! Looking forward to listening to some new CD's I got online, including Hangable Auto Bulb by Aphex Twin and Subterranean Modern by Dining Rooms.

Currently listening to Cottage by The Merkin Dream and Apala Messenger by Haruna Ishola. Awesome CD's.

Anyway, I found this interesting op-ed in the Washington Post yesterday. The chica (Joy Jones), makes some sincere, yet distrubing points about the whole marriage thing from a black woman's personal perspective in the states.

life is too long!
